So I have become addicted to insta-gram, so if you follow me there, sorry for the repeat pics. If you don't - here is our December from my phone's perspective.

Radley and Emmy stayed with Gigi and Pops the first week of December, so I was home alone with Ladnry. Such fun watching her discover her first Christmas!

Her favorite toy? A water bottle with dried beans.

The bigs at my hometown Christmas parade...

Landry mastering her standing skills...

A solo trip to HobLob with Mommy is the best!

Silent Night...

The best $10 I spent all month. A melting frosty...the kids LOVE him!!

If only I got to use my bath as much as they do!

Welcome home Johnny Manziel!

Her first taste of real bananas...I think she likes it!

Favorite Pinterest project yet...

The kids requested to take naps together one day.

"I love Landry, Mommy!"

Inaugural Hot Mess Munson Christmas Tea Party...

Coordinated Cute King Kiddies

Fav new holiday deco. The PERFECT card holder.

Seriously - make this.

1 yard green felt
Various felt squares

Cut a "tree" and make presents. I hot glued the gifts to the bottom. Then the kids get to decorate their own tree all month long. One night we cut more ornaments and they LOVED it.

"I need your lap, Mommy."

Movie night and sleeping under the tree!

Shared naptime numero two.

Failed attempt at driving through Santa's Wonderland + a healthy drive thru dinner = Mom of the Year.

December 23 Sunday Morning Church Service - we got asked to carry the offering to the alter that morning and Radley thought he was such a big kid!

I heart bed head.

Instagram of the year = one tired tot.

The King Family Christmas continues...

Ryan and I talked a lot about gifts this year and decided to adopt the "3 gift" rule - we figure if 3 is enough for Jesus, then it's enough for our kiddos. So, Santa brought some stocking stuffers and a big(ish) gift for the kids and then we bought 3 gifts for them. One that clothes you, one that brings you joy and one that brings you closer to God. And you know what - Radley was as excited about his Star Wars trashcan from Santa as he was about the bigger stuff he had gotten in the past. And Emmy loved her play make up and Landry, just liked the paper and boxes. :)

Our Christmas day goes something like this:

1. Kids wake up and see that Santa has arrived
2. Dive into his goodies (which was pretty low-key this year)
3. Breakfast with GiGi and Pops (and Pete if he makes it)
4. Sorting of gifts
5.Opening of gifts
6. Playing with gifts
7. Spaghetti for lunch
8. Naps/watch movies/all around laziness

Kayla stopped by to drop off a gift for the kids that she bought with her own money and Radley wanted to show her their shiny new jeep from Gigi and Pops. He was such a gentleman that he let her drive!

Then it was time for the Royal Hot Messes to celebrate over GiGi's spaghetti and gravy. (If you aren't jealous - you should be. I know I mention it lots, but my momma's spaghetti is legendary).

We got to wish Jody, Sonya and Owen a Merry Christmas face to face on Pops and GiGi's new toy!

And the bigs got in some snuggle time over a Christmas classic.

Millie and Landry say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

A King Family Christmas...

Twas Christmas morning when the King Kiddies awoke
To discover what Santa left was no joke

A trash can, some movies, a dress and a doll
Stockings stuffed full and enough love spread for all

Rad got a scooter and mommy a bike,

And a "Cinderella carriage" for sisters when we ride out of sight!

A whole bunch of cute gathered that day...

To celebrate Christ's birth and the gifts He gave away.

In the midst of it all, an outfit change (or TEN)...

And on each of our faces spread a big grin!

We shared love..

And some laughs...

And discoveries, too...

And a private fashion show from Miss Emmy Lou!

Big brother so kind to help Landry learn...

And Emersyn constantly exclaiming, "Now its my turn!"

A kid growing up...

A momma so happy...

And two year old playing dress up - looking so snappy! ;)

GiGi and Pops thought we followed the rules...

But a shiny new iPad for them was so cool!

The gifts had been opened and a mess had been made...

But wait just one more, let Rad lead the way!

OH MY GOSH! That's SO COOL! We heard them both say...

A jeep just like Daddy - now get out of the way!

Radley loved it in an instant -

Emmy not so much...

Mommy loves her bike (bc it doesn't have a clutch!) ;)

We all settled down and with our toys played...

And gave thanks by wishing a Happy Birthday!!
