Birthday celebrations (pt 3)...

We rounded out the celebrating after school with a requested dinner date at Chick Fil A. The birthday girl requested a "san-which" instead of nuggets so her wish was granted.

(Don't be fooled by this picture... about .5 seconds later the chicken came out of the bread and she proceeded to feast on a dinner of fruit, fries, and processed flour.

We were of course joined by the Munsons...

even the littles had their own table. And rightfully so because without a doubt these two are the most well behaved when it comes time to eating. They never complain, they eat what they've been given and they don't ask to go to the bathroom every 15 seconds.

;)

Then we headed to our house for some birthday cake and more presents. Gigi and MaMaw were there to celebrate and Emmy broke into her loot before we could sing happy birthday.

She was slightly  excited about her new Tinkerbell night gown.

Then we convinced them to slow down long enough to have some cake...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMMY!!!

May all of your wishes come true!

Her wish for just eating icing and leaving the cake did for sure.

This one would have eaten the whole thing if we let her.

Then we headed outside to giggle, squeal and swing...

 In our heels of course.

Such a happy sound when our yard is filled with kiddos.

Even through the silly faces...

the squealing faces...

the when-did-he-turn-15 faces....

the thirsty faces....

and the how-did-I-get-up-here faces?

Nights like these are really just simple gifts to me.

Happy Birthday, Emersyn!

May each day be filled with blessings from sun up to sun down.
May you always get to enjoy ice cream in the middle of the day.
And may you lay down your tired head after being surrounded by those that love you.
