Tiny Tales Thursday...

I love that stage of speaking where kids say certain words wrong.

Radley always said "lellow" instead of "yellow".
Emmy always said "chicken" instead of "kitchen".

And Landry has a slew of current words that she says wrong. My favorite part is that if we say them wrong she tells us it's wrong - even though we are saying exactly what she is saying.

My current favorite?

white for light.

Like, "Momma can you turn on the white?"

They have these toy lanterns and she carries it around saying, "My white, my white."

Me: Landry, is that your white?
Landry: No, it's a WHite.
Me: A white?
Landry: No, a WHite.
Me: A light?
Landry: Yes. A WHite.

Oh. Clearly.
